RAIN OR SHINE!
It's time once again for the region's Fall Foliage Festival – our 50th year! The Boothbay Information Center along with the Boothbay Railway Village co–sponsor this true New England Craft Fair. Every Columbus Day Weekend for nearly half a century the Museumís Village Green has welcomed dozens of vendors with handmade items and fabulous food along with a wide variety of live entertainment. The children's area promises to be fun and entertaining for the younger crowd!
The beautiful crafts, art, great eats, and entertainment are center stage on the Museum's Village Green, a four acre lawn surrounded by historic buildings and structures. Rides on the narrow gauge steam train and the opportunity for guests to explore exhibits detailing Maineís railroad heritage, interpreting village life, and displaying more than 55 antique automobiles set this event apart.
Foodies will delight in the traditional coastal offerings of lobster rolls, hot cider, fish chowder, kettle corn, just to name a few.
As always, children will have great fun in the children's area with face painting, lawn games, treasure hunts and more.
